MP3 Player Speakers
Lets start off by talking about what a MP3 is. A MP3 is actually a format used to store things like songs in a really small format. A typical MP3 file is one tenth the size of a song file saved on a cd. That is why iPods, and other MP3 players have become so popular lately. You can hold thousands of songs in something the size of a credit card. There are many accessories for MP3 players, one of these is the MP3 player speakers.
There are many brands and styles of MP3 Player speakers. You can get anything from a plug in that hooks up to your iPod and has one speaker that is actually smaller then the iPod itself. All the way up to a desk lamp that has a speaker and a iPod jack on it. The good thing for all the ones in between these are that most of them while you iPod is plugged into them also charge them. They are often refered to as iPod Docking Stations.
Depending on what you want the MP3 player speakers to do and what style you want it in you can almost find anything you could ever need or want. The prices for these range from just $10.00 all the way up to whatever you want to spend. For the most part they aren't really portable, most of them need to plug them in since the iPod can't run them alone. There are some you can get that use batteries and are portable but they will not charge your iPod while they are plugged in.
